Can anyone check if the 2003 RM250 has a PowerJet carburetor? Hello friends! Recently I sold my 2008 Rm 250 for 2200€ to a friend and started looking for an Enduro off-road bike. I saw an RME 250 for €2700 and sent a message to the seller asking for the final price. He replied that he could sell for a minimum of 2500 € and I came to see him. I saw the bike and it works well, but it was very dirty and some bolts are bad or different from the standard. I offered him 2400€ and he accepted. He gave me everything to walk on the road and to my surprise, the bike has the piston that comes with the bike when you bought a new One Today I started deciphering the bike and starting a complete reconstruction. My plan is to do: -plastics and graphics -replace any bearing -Put the new piston and crankshaft mounts -new transmission kit -new tires -new brakes -new seat and foam cover -new spokes maybe -color chassis My previous bike: [LINK TO IMAGE] Suzuki RME250: [LINK TO IMAGE] [LINK TO IMAGE] I will update more detailed images soon. RMs are only for closed rough competition and the VIN cannot be registered for the road. I searched for my 125 years ago and discovered it. I want to register RM250 2003 in Nevada. I`m just making it legal to traffic the connecting paths, it`s still 99% used for land, and I`m trying to make sure it only complies with regulations, with as little investment as possible. I don`t really need the light to ride at night just to be legal.
^^I thought exactly the same, but there is a legal CR125 in a nearby town for sale on my local CL. Must be a way to do it. It`s a pretty cool build. It must be a lot of fun, I had a 1990 Honda CR250M and a 1994 Suzuki RMX250 that were only sold in Japan. They were great fun driving down the road to work or the supermarket. www.electrosport.com/lighting-stator-6-pole-suzuki-rm250-01-08-50w.html. Maybe in the future, for now the budget is thighs and it costs too much Btoz it`s not a factory chart. It is a replica of OEM graphics.
I`ve heard some people say that you can rewind the stator, or that there are unused rods on the standard stator, does anyone know anything about that? I like Pollisport`s HMX LED headlights and WPS taillights. Good luck. I use the only bulb of Chuck Steahly`s recommendation. I also turned off the Enduro taillight to give the headlight a little more power. The taillight is only attached for the show. In my state, they do not do visual inspection before issuing a panel, but only read the chassis number. In California, they did, but I had a Baja Des. DS kit on my RMX that needed to pass everything.
This guy claims an LED headlight and burns for 10 hours from the paste pack mounted in his air box. I don`t understand why this configuration wouldn`t work on an RM. Compared to my previous RMX, it emits about 1/4 of the light. Not exhilarating at best. Maybe it`s because I`m using a 15W bulb as opposed to the 55W RMX projector, but not because the RM coil doesn`t emit as much juice as the RMX. He rolled up the three empty rods with 18g. I have to turn the bike at at least 5000 rpm and beyond to do 10V. He never reaches 12. At idle, it is about 3v.
I like European hardened Japanese motorcycles and only Euromarkt motorcycles. This bike is cool Cesar. Today I opened the engine and everything was fine. The engine has traces of paint from the factory, never opened. Today I ordered the crankshaft bearings and seal set. Tomorrow I will start cleaning the engine and parts. Has anyone used any of the lighting coils on the market? I drove a 24-hour off-road race with LED Bpods borrowed from my H bars and a helmet headlight. All batteries are working. You probably won`t get a plate with this setup, but it worked pretty well. More than enough to go trail running. Luckily, the 24-hour run was a swamp and the top speeds were lower, so I couldn`t replace my lights when I tried. I just spoke to Steahly Offroad, and he recommended that the Electrosport powerjet lighting kit make a lighting stator for your RM250.
